I am Nathaniel Miller, and I’m a graphic designer, art director and illustrator, formerly from New York City. Just recently I arrived in Zagreb, Croatia, and I’m ready to get to work.
In NYC I worked for a variety of clients and agencies within publishing and advertising, designing all manner of visual and textual communication. For the last 12 years I lived in Switzerland, working for an NGO as lead designer, as well as freelancing for a variety of clients, providing a variety of visual and textual solutions.
Over my career to-date I have created everything from small magazine advertisements to posters, infographics, banners, billboards, illustrations, branding, brochures, books and dimensional store displays. My focus has been on print media, but have effetively created media for web content as well. When I was an art director in NYC, I oversaw a team of off-site production artists, liasing with clients and providing creative solutions to unique problems that were both on-brand and on-time. Prior to that I was a production designer, often communicating with printers to ensure that quality was maintained throughout the entire process. My experience casts a wide net over the visual communication world, from advertising to publishing, leading projects from the initial client meeting to final production.
Throughout it all, I have found that the collaborative workspace is one I have great enthusiasm for. I enjoy working in a team environment, finding creative solutions to illuminate a clients core message, and casting it to a wide audience. If you would like to have a native English speaker with strong communication skills on your design team or as a freelance client, then I greatly look forward to working with you.
